Since ill-fated balloon adventures are all over the media, these days, the Daily Doxie is stepping back in history to bring you some headlines about giant Dachshund balloon mishaps. Luckily the inflatable wiener dog you see here made it through Thanksgiving 1950 without popping but in 1928, one of his giant Dachshund balloon ancestors went down in the east river and was ripped apart by tugboats.
Our editorial recommendation: stay out of balloon and don’t go skydiving either.
