As we come to the end of our first official week of operations here at the Daily Doxie, readers are writing in with questions about all the topless pics we’ve featured recently. In a nutshell, they want to know if this is going to be a regular thing.

The answer is by all means yes if we can keep digging up pictures of topless people and their doxies. Over at our sister site, the Scottish Terrier and Dog News, we didn’t have any naughty photos until today, and that was only because the Scottie News readers got wind of what was going on over here and asked for similar privileges.

What must be said, however, is that it was far more difficult to find the naughty Scottie than it has been to find images of Dachshunds and naked people. Perhaps, this is because Doxies originally hail from Deutschland where they think nothing of nude sun bathing at the local park and heading into the co-ed sauna with only the tiniest twel. Certainly, it is hard to imagine that type of behaviour being tolerated in Scotland.

In any case, please feel free to send us tasteful Dachshund nudity shots as we are already worried as to how the search engines are going to handle this post and we don’t want an influx of people who had the wrong impression as to what the Daily Doxie is all about.

The Daily Dachshund and Dog News has finally found  that 1973 picture of Ian McShane wearing a medallion, a dachshund and nothing else. There seems, however, to be a difference of opinion on whether Morrie the doxie looks distressed or contented. Cast your vote.
